Fundraiser Event at LIUMA

The USA trip gave me incredible confidence and showed me how to be a leader with a group of younger boxers who need someone to listen to and look up to.

I learned in Ireland that you can write down your feelings and emotions and that might help you get over a time where you feel like you fell short of your expectations for yourself.

The trip to Ireland was a great experience. It made my world bigger.

Boxing is somewhere to leave all your stress and feelings instead of keeping it all bottled up. It gives you a reason to show up and be part of something.

Boxing helped me stay off the streets and away from the stupid stuff that I used to do, and helped me focus in school. The boxing club gave me the tools I needed.

The exchange program is brilliant! I enjoyed every minute of it and so did all my teammates. It has been an amazing experience.

The Belfast-Beltway tournament is one of our favorite events of the year and everyone looks forward to it. Our kids engage with athletes from different cultures and boxing venues, and find out that we are more alike than different.

Since I started boxing, I have become a better person. I have been doing very well in school and I am on the honor roll every quarter!

Boxing has had a positive impact on my life, because it trains you mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
